S.S system is a design system for sculptures installed at train stations in Switzerland. Sculptures installed at train stations function as meeting points and tell the history and stories of the town to visitors. Shibuya Station in Japan has a famous bronze statue of a dog, and many people meet in front of the statue because it is easy to explain and understand as a meeting place. Each city and canton in Switzerland has a different history and story. Because the station is visited by so many people, we thought it should convey the characteristics of the city.

Corner urinal is a new urinal that improves human privacy without the need for a divider, making it more compact and reducing urine splashing.
The Corner urinal’s receptacle is tilted at a 45-degree angle, making it difficult to see the person next to you, allowing you to urinate without worrying about the line of sight of others. In addition, the inner molding of the urinal is angled from the top to the bottom of the back to reduce urine splashing.

SCALEMET is a foldable disaster helmet for children. Most disaster helmets for children are far too big and bulky to carry. If a big earthquake happened while children were at school or, even worse, on their way to school, they would not be able to protect their heads. Thanks to the structure of reptile scales, SCALEMET is much smaller than standard disaster helmets. School children can easily carry SCALEMET when they go to school.

However, they are not able to participate in the actual baking process because it involves a lot of physical work. I designed a new kitchen tool that can whip whipped cream, the most strenuous of all pastry-making tasks, with much less effort. Compared to a conventional whisk, it takes 1/3 of the time to make whipped cream.

Light and shadow is a material research project for shadows with depth.
When I saw the shadows projected on the shoji screens changing their shapes with time, I felt a delicate Japanese beauty. I wondered if I could emphasize the emotional expression of light and shadow more, and by giving light and shadow shapes, I was able to create expressive light and shadow.
