障子に投影された影が時間によって形が変わるのを見たとき、日本的な繊細な美しさを感じました、光と影の情緒的な表現をより強調できないかと考え、光と影に形を与えることで、表情豊かな光と影を作り出すことができました。
Light and shadow is a material research project for shadows with depth.
When I saw the shadows projected on the shoji screens changing their shapes with time, I felt a delicate Japanese beauty. I wondered if I could emphasize the emotional expression of light and shadow more, and by giving light and shadow shapes, I was able to create expressive light and shadow.
